Developing partner network for KARAT IS distribution in Slovakia
On December 4th, 2002, I.F.T. PROGRES representatives attended international Information and communications technology meeting in Bratislava, held by Slovak business and innovation centre (BIC), a member of the IRC (international innovation centre) network.
I.F.T. PROGRES representatives participated in seven bilateral negotiations of varying content and goals. The outcomes were accepted with general satisfaction, as a mutual agreement has been reached that the company’s business activities really can be expanded not only to Slovakia, but also to other countries bordering with the Czech Republic as well and the expansion should indeed be based on co-operating with local businesses. Taking part in the meeting was only one of the steps needed to reach the set goal. However, even these negotiations showed common intention and willingness to keep on developing the estimated relationship – the most important prerequisite of any future success.
The international innovation centre network is funded by the EU. Its purpose is to support co-operation and development in information and communication technology fields between IRC member states businesses. To the date, it is comprised of 68 member states, both EU members and neighbouring countries.
