Customized solving in KARAT IS for PRIMAPLYN PRAHA
I.F.T. PROGRES a.s. signed a contract of realization of customized solution for Primaplyn, a company residing in Prague. This project focuses on creating of new ordering module called LPG, which takes part in the complex information system called KARAT. This model will handle company processes concerning purchases, storage, sales and distribution of gas.
Primaplyn s.r.o. is a part of the international group SHV Gas which specializes in distribution liquefied heating gas. SHV Gas with its sales over 6 million tons of propane and propane butane is number one on the LPG market in the world. Subsidiary company Primaplyn entered the Czech market at the end of 1994 and belongs today to the fastest expanding companies in this branch in our country. In the beginning, the company invested its capital to the filling plant of bottled gas in Horní Suchá close to Havířov. Its headquarters resides in Prague, a branch office in Horní Suché. Besides, the company managed to create a strong network of commercial representatives all over the Czech Republic. Primaplyn has the largest transport capacity for liquefied gas delivery in our country.
For handling company processes concerning the main subject of enterprise the I.F.T. PROGRES product was chosen, mainly because of the long term cooperation between our companies in the IT area. The ISO product was utilized in Primaplyn in 90s, an older MS DOS program from the I.F.T. PROGRES production. From 1999, the KARAT system for handling the company agenda has been implemented. This provides integrated information system to company management so it can run and coordinate all company processes.
