I.F.T. PROGRES became one of the founders of Center for Research
.F.T. PROGRES became one of the founders of Center for Information Systems Research. The company has operated on the market for 13 years and their product portfolio is formed by their ISO and KARAT information systems.
We appreciated the proposal to become one of the founding member of the Center for Information Systems Research. We believe that with our long-term experience in information systems development and implementation we can contribute to fulfill the objectives of this Center,” says Stanislav Hlobilek, commercial and marketing director of I.F.T. PROGRES. The objective of this center is to systematically monitor the development of information systems of companies operating on the Czech market and to create a platform for systematic research of ERP, APS/SCM, CRM and DW/BI applications. CVIS therefore becomes the very first special section focusing on system research in the area of company information systems in the Czech Republic. The results of the center and all CSSI activities will be presented to specialists as well as seculars via internet on www.cssi.cz, conferences and publications.
Nowadays the center associates 17 collective members. The main media partner of this project is the Computer Press publishing house. The CVIS specialized and organizational background is provided by the personnel of the Department of Management Production - Industrial Engineering of the Tomas Bata University in Zlin. CVIS is associated in specialized section of “Ceske spolecnosti pro systemovou integraci”* (CSSI) (*Czech companies for system integration). CSSI associates organizations and individuals supplying or utilizing in IT and information services (companies, institutions, universities). The company goal has been from the very beginning the exchange of information and opinions in the area of information systems and IT or communication technologies. For the realization of its intentions CSSI established a magazine called System Integration and runs its own web page www.cssi.cz. Various conferences and a network of specialized seminars all over the Czech Republic have already become a tradition.
