Information system KARAT attracts construction companies
The construction company CKV Praha s.r.o. uses the KARAT information system to run its economic, financial, distribution, and storage agenda. Together with CIDEM from Hranice and Freemont also operating in this field; this is the third construction company that uses the KARAT information system.
ČKV Praha s.r.o. focuses on non-excavational methods and services for building and reconstruction of networks. A solution for 8 users, the KARAT Lite version, was implemented in this company within 2 months including the pre-implementation analysis. CKV Praha used a File/Server solution –an ISO information system supplied, as well as KARAT IS, by I.F.T. PROGRES.
One of the main reasons for the switchover from ISO to KARAT was the requirement for a modern and safe system using transactional process in databases with Client/Server architecture. These data servers are able to process various data quantities from tens to hundreds GB so the potential company growth does not necessarily have to mean changing of the whole application but just the database server. The technology itself brings properties like spectrum ability and safety which, together with other features of KARAT IS, make it optimal and effective for utilization in CKV Praha and offer a complex solution to all levels of management including top management.
CKV Praha indicates the fact that complex information system KARAT is affordable even for smaller companies. Thanks to the fast implementation period, a carefully picked database and server and, above all, a reliable solution, they obtain a robust system for convenient price conditions.
