KARAT in the Family brewery BERNARD
I.F.T. PROGRES, joint stock company, signed an information system KARAT supply and implementation licence contract for the Family brewery BERNARD, joint stock company.
The Humpolec brewery became famous for its production of the traditional non-pasteurized trademark Bernard beer [www.bernard.cz]. The Family brewery in Humpolec keeps on expanding, not only in its products’ success. Since the year 2000 it operates as a joint stock company and in July 2001 it upped its registered capital by the entry of a strategic partner Duvel Moorgat [www.duvel.be] from Belgium.
KARAT is a full information system using the Client/Server technology, aimed at medium and large business and production organizations management, as well as for companies conducting business in the service sector. The system is developed with emphasis on its openness and uses the Client/ Server technology. It is ported on the database servers Sybase ASA, Sybase ASE and Microsoft SQL Server 2000, which work under the Microsoft and UNIX operating systems. It was created in the Windows graphical environment on the basis of more than ten years’ experience in information systems development and implementations. The technologies used ensure characteristics like scalability and safety, which, combined with other characteristics, predetermine KARAT IS for optimum and effective use.
