KARAT makes processes in the course of planning and manufacture management more effective
In these days, Jansen Display and NALCOM signed a KARAT Company solution implementation contract. The new solution should especially make more effective the crucial processes in the area of manufacture management with emphasis on capacitive planning and optimization of manufacture materials orders.
Jansen Displays belongs to leading European advertisement manufacturers. The manufacture program includes in the first place illuminated advertisements, customer eye-catchers and poster frames including accessories.
The KARAT implementation is divided into several phases. In the first phase, which will be finished in January 2004, KARAT implementation will be done in the Czech Republic in the workplaces in Praha and Teplice. In the coming years KARAT IS solution will be implemented in the subdivisions in Slovakia, Hungary, and Poland.
KARAT is a complex information system using the Client/Server technology, aimed at medium and large business and production organizations management, as well as at companies conducting business in the service sector. The system is sector-neutral, its openness allows to adapt the system to company needs to the greatest possible extent. The technologies used ensure properties like scalability and safety, which, combined with other properties, predetermine KARAT IS for optimal and effective use.
NALCOM, an I.F.T. Progres certified partner and a co-author of KARAT IS solutions for production planning and control, deals with complex supplies of information systems with a stress on solutions in the area of production planning and control.
