The sole agent of the KARAT IS in Slovakia
I. F. T. Progres a.s., the producer of the KARAT Information System, signed an agreement of the exclusive representation of this system in Slovakia with Omnia Systems Integration.
Omnia Systems Integration, a.s., is a subsidiary of the OMNIA, a.s., group. In 2000, the companies of OMNIA group had the total turnover of 4 billion SKK and the overall gain of 100 million SKK. The parent company OMNIA has built a network of companies divided by branch to the industrial ones, consumer goods ones and automobile ones.
Omnia Systems Integration was founded by the spin-off and unification of the computer centres of OMNIA Group in March 2001. The reason was outsourcing of the activities connected with qualified administration and maintenance of the computer and communication equipment, and also increased requirements for development of sophisticated software also by third parties. Omnia Systems Integration is oriented mainly on database applications and enterprise information systems development, but also on programming libraries and visual and functional components. The company has rich experience in solving middle-size and large-size enterprise information systems by using proved and stable technologies.
Omnia Systems Integration actively participate in localization of the KARAT IS for the Slovak market. The fully localized version, in the means of language and especially legislative, will be available until 30 June 2003. As the sole KARAT Representative, Omnia Systems Integration will be organizing the other partner companies for selling and implementation of the KARAT IS in Slovakia and will also realize its selling and implemetation to end users. For your interest, the first Slovak pilot projects are already being negotiated and their realization is planned in the second half of 2003.
