Magic Trading Corp a.s. uses the KARAT IS in the Linux version
Magic Trading Corp a.s. has started routine work in the KARAT IS which it had chosen in the tender in the spring this year. The Linux-based KARAT IS is used for administering economics, stock records and CRM. The project was realized by a KARAT Partner, Step Software s.r.o from Košice.
The main activity of Magic Trading Corp a.s. is selling specialized equipment, firearms and hunting arms, and their servicing. Except various small customers, its main clients are institutions from the state-sector.
The KARAT IS is set up with the sales, storage, economics and CRM modules for 10 users at the company’s headquarters. The implemented solution uses the Sybase ASA database management system. The KARAT IS allows centralisation of formerly decentralised data, also by the remote access method. In this case, the benefit of the implemented solution has been its complexity and ability to grow up according to customer's needs.
Step Software s.r.o. who is a KARAT certified partner of KARAT Slovakia a.s. (the sole agent of the KARAT IS in Slovakia) passed the certification early in 2004. The company deals in providing information systems for middle-size and large-size companies.
