RABBIT decided on KARAT
A contract on implementation of the KARAT Information System in the RABBIT company was signed in July. The subject matter of this contract is to provide the Ekonomika (Economics), Finance (Finance), Obchod (Trade), Personalistika a mzdy (Personnel administration and wages) and Odbyt a sklady (Sales and storage) modules for 30 users. The KARAT IS was chosen due to the range of solutions it covers, know-how in the food-processing industry and its trading procedures, the modern architecture and a possibility to make customer modifications at the level of the IT department of RABBIT.
A joint stock company RABBIT Trhový Štěpánov a.s., including all its subsidiaries, is a Czech company with more than 14 years of tradition in breeding, processing and distribution of pork, poultry and cony meat. Together with its subsidiaries it creates a holding that is involved in primary agricultural industry, livestock breeding and also its processing, distribution and selling in both the Czech market and abroad. The company has its own trade network of 103 shops.
The aim of this project is to improve support of all trading and logistic procedures, to connect all departments and plants into one on-line system, and to increase the speed of processing and evaluating information to improve communication with customers, suppliers and institutions.
