IS KARAT Enterprise implemented at TRUCK Trade s.r.o.
TRUCK Trade s.r.o., an authorized dealer of DAF trucks, and PANAV and SCHMITZ trailers, has successfully implemented the KARAT information system.
The project aim was to implement the complex solution IS KARAT Enterprise that meant to cover all company activities, and emphasizing the area of distribution, service, and truck rental. In the scope of the solution, a specialized functionality for the automatic exchange and processing of data between TRUCK Trade s.r.o. and DAF Trucks’ producer in Holland was developed.
Currently, the solution is used on-line by 30 users simultaneously – 20 in the company residence in Brno, and ten at service sub-branches in Ostrava, Olomouc and Otrokovice connected via terminals. As a result of the implementation, the customer has acquired a complex information system, the functionality of which covers the whole range of company activities from the operational to the economic. The interconnection of all parts was emphasized.

On June 1st 1999, TRUCK TRADE s.r.o. become an authorized dealer of DAF Trucks. In 2000, the company was awarded the title of DAF EXCELLENT DEALER. In November 2005, the company acquired the ISO 9001 certificate of quality management system and ISO 14001 certificate of environmental management system.
