Specialist conference KARAT OPEN in Slovakia
On Tuesday, May 15th, the specialist conference KARAT Open 2007 took place at the Medium Hotel in Bratislava. The event continued on Thursday, May 17th, at the Kohal Hotel. in Košice. The KARAT Open is an annual conference for IT managers, economic and executive managers, and users of the KARAT system.
According to a visitor survey, the most interesting part of the program was the CKM 2000 Travel, s.r.o. case study, together with the presentation on the competitive advantages gained by the openness of IS KARAT.
It has become a tradition that clients of IS KARAT have their presentations at the conference. The solution used within CKM 2000 Travel, s.r.o. was presented by its financial director, Ladislav Kovář, who emphasized the role of implementation teams on both the sides of the provider and client of the ERP solution.
“An ERP solution, such as that of the KARAT information system, is most importantly a means of fulfilling the commercial aims of the company. The implementation of the IS KARAT in CKM 2000 Travel, s.r.o. was not an end in itself, but a means of fulfilling the commercial intentions of the company” said Kovář.
