The KARAT information system will be used to manage package production in Slovakia
Přerov 14.1.2008 - at the end of 2007, the MAT-Obaly company, residing in Prievidz, has signed a contract regarding the delivery of IS KARAT that would be managing the production processes in Prievidz, Žilina and Přerov.
MAT-obaly, Ltd. is a production-business company, operating in Slovak and international markets with packaging material. The company primarily engages in the production of foils, the customized production of bags, the collection and recycling of waste foils and wholesale and retail of packaging materials. The IS KARAT system will be delivered directly by the general representative of the IS KARAT producer for Slovakia, KARAT Slovakia. The implementation will ensure regular operation, beginning at the end of March 2008. Right from the beginning, the system will be used by 20 simultaneously working users. Further expansion of the system is foreseen, depending on the expected growth of the company.
The KARAT information system is used for enterprise management by hundreds of mid-sized and large companies in the Czech and Slovak Republic. The system is distinguished by its ability to support more platforms (MS, LINUX, UNIX a MS SQL, SYBASE…) and its unique architecture enables quick realization of specific adjustments according to the needs of the user.
